Diaz-Canel headed the Delivery of Dwellings for the Tornado´s Affected

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel headed Friday an act of delivering dwellings to people affected by the devastating January 27 tornado in Havana

In Alamar and as part of the visit of the Council of Ministers to Havana, the President participated in the delivery of homes´keys to 70 families affected by the meteorological phenomenon, which seriously damaged the housing infrastructure Diez de Octubre, Regla and Guanabacoa municipalities.

The recovery process after the tornado was among the actions checked by Diaz-Canel on his second government visit to the capital, accompanied by leaders and ministers.

Earlier, the Head of State was in Regla in a food production company while Thursday, on the first day of the tour, visited Coppelia´s ice cream factory, the company Brascuba Cigarrillos S.A., the Technological University and areas of Diez de Octubre municipality.

This month began the second cycle, the first culminated in February in the eastern province of Las Tunas, of the visits of the Council of Ministers to the 15 Cuban provinces to assess the progress of socioeconomic development programs and the fulfillment of the indications issued in the previous visits.
