As expected, the Brazilian Federal Senate removed PresidentDilma Rousseff from office 61 votes in favor and 20 against

Following the right-wing’s orders the elected President of that country, DilmaRouseff was removed from office by 61 Brazilian federal senators, giving way to an illegitimate government led by the corrupt politician Michel Temer, who started a trip to China after his official investiture.

With the definitive removal of the Worker’s Party leader, the parliamentarian coup d’état became effective against a political process which situated the country of more than 200 million inhabitants at the forefront of Latin American integration, giving priority to social programs, which favored economy, in order to release 68 million people from misery, in addition to the more than 36 millionfavored and free health and education for the poor.

The National Congress, in the Lower Chamber of congressmen and in the Upper Chamber of federal senators, followed the plan devised by the oligarchy to the letter.

Far-fetched and calumnious are the unproven accusations so far against 68 year-old Rousseff, a former guerrilla fighter, who has shown serenity, good sense and especially concern over the powerful country’s destiny, now in the hands of illegitimate President Michel Temer, in office after Rousseff’s 180-day suspension last May 12.

Despite the efforts of attorneyJosé Eduardo Cardozo, it was clear for analysts that too much money was used to bribe congressmen and senators; 60% of them, including Temer, are involved in corruption; according to federal authorities, which is embarrassing for the Brazilian political panorama.

The capitalist empire wanted to get rid of the president at all costs, since her integrationist position, the important role of the country in the BRICS group, and her honorable attitude in the international arena contradict the plans designed for Brazil by the American recolonizing mechanism in the South American region with the downfall of progressive and revolutionary governments.

It’s not difficult to foresee the Brazilian political future by considering the adopted neoliberal policies and the ones announced by Temer and his team, among them the cancellation of social programs, cutbackin public spending -among them the ones concerning the poorest sectors-, as well as rise in fares.

The illegitimate President was not elected by popular vote, as soon as he took office this Thursday he got away from the people’s reaction with an immediate trip to China.

Amid the solidarity received from Latin Americancountries, Peace Nobel prizewinners and political leaders, Rousseff’s defending attorney José Eduardo Cardozo announced that he will appeal the senatorial decision, although analysts say it will be useless.

There’s no other choice than to wait for the steps to be made by the Workers’ Party, which goes to the opposition after 13 years of government, as well as the little organized local left-wing forces which although having rejected the putsch are devoid of a strengthened single direction.

The next few days will bring the Brazilian political panorama to light, and more than one political betrayal will be disclosed, especially from Temer’s Democratic Movement and the Brazilian Social Democracy, led from the shadows byPresident Henrique Jorge Cardoso, whose friend José Serra is now the Chancellor of the usurper president.
