El reconocido actor estadounidense se encuentra en la capital cubana, donde visitó, entre otros espacios, la Galería Habana
«En la mañana de hoy (el viernes) tuvimos el inmenso placer de recibir en nuestra Galería al célebre y multipremiado actor y productor de cine estadounidense Robert De Niro. Disfruten imágenes del actor junto al staff de Galería Habana.
Al fondo la acuarela Jerarquías Negadas, que da título a la exposición personal de Alexandre Arrechea», reseñó en su espacio en Facebook esa entidad artística.
Arrechea, quien puso un post y fotos de la visita en su página en Internet, es también un destacado artista cubano, cuyas obras integran las más reconocidas colecciones internacionales.
En su larga y exitosa carrera De Niro ganó el Oscar en dos ocasiones, una de ellas por la película El Padrino II, que está entre sus papeles más recordados en la historia del cine, resumió la agencia Prensa Latina, que se hizo eco de la visita de la celebridad norteamericana a Cuba.
Agregó que, aunque luego interpretó varios personajes conflictivos, delincuentes y gánsteres, sabe desdoblar sus capacidades histriónicas en el drama y la comedia.
Sus varias colaboraciones con el director Martin Scorsese también destacan en su filmografía, así como las películas Taxi Driver (1976), The Deer Hunter (1978) y Goodfellas (1990), entre otras.
